Hi, my name is Mary-Anne Heller and while I am new to blogging on WordPress, I have loads of experience in marketing. Today I want to talk to the “Baby Boomers” out there about internet marketing your MLM. Many of us have been rudely awakened to the reality that “times they are ‘achangin” and our once secure retirements are in need of a boost.
With that in mind, so many have decided that a home-based business is the ticket. We have joined various and sundry Multi-Level-Marketing opportunities with good products only to realize that 20th Century marketing techniques were no longer working. Additionally, now that the kids are gone and our business lives are abbreviated, our network is somewhat deflated and we run out of leads quickly.
Years ago we read How to win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie and Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. The principles in those books have now been taken to the internet. This is great because the whole world becomes your network! For those of us of a certain age who have a sales/marketing background, do yourself a favor and revisit these classics. For everyone else in network marketing who are from other fields, please invest in copies of these books. They are available in bookstores and on the internet. I’ll bet that your local library has them on their shelf. Today the concept is known as “attraction marketing”.
